If Blogs Could Talk, Mine Would Say THANK YOU!

Okay, if I'm being completely honest with myself and with my readers, I readily admit that I have not yet gotten the hang of the whole blog thing.  I feel like I could post more documents or more ideas... if only I had the time.  If only.

Well.  That is nothing compared to how terrible I felt about the way my blog looked.  Seriously, Stacy and Clinton would have had a field day, if they extended their makeover madness to include blog layouts and not just wardrobes.  Honestly.  It was bad.  I am pretty sure that my four year old nephew could have made a more appealing blog design, and that nugget of truth doesn't exactly mesh well with my Type A personality.  My quest for html perfection was a big flop.  A big belly flop.  The kind that stings a little.

Enter... Mrs. Walsky from First Grade Teaching.  She recently took a class to learn how to create websites and blogs, and she needed volunteers to practice designing templates.  I volunteered, because honestly, my blog was a TRAIN WRECK!  (Side-note: A bonafide train randomly blew its whistle precisely after I finished typing TRAIN WRECK.  Coincidence?  I think not.) Anyway, I was lucky enough to respond quickly to her post, and she created my template as an example.  This brings me back around full-circle, because if blogs could talk, mine would say THANK YOU!   Mrs. Walsky, you are a magician!  I am totally amazed at how fabulous my blog looks.  I wish I had taken before and after shots of the transformation.  It's a total Cinderella story... and she nailed my classroom color scheme too!  Absolutely nailed it.

Mrs. Walsky has set up a new blog called Teacher Gone Techie to manage her budding web-design side-business!  (As if being a mom, a fabulous teacher, a professor at three colleges, and maintaining a blog isn't time consuming enough!  She is seriously inspiring!)  Mrs. Walsky is currently offering a special until February 15th.  She will create a custom blog design for ONLY $20.00!  No, I don't get paid commission for advertising her business, although it doesn't sound like a bad idea!  I am simply a very satisfied... very excited teacher!  You can find out more information at the Teacher Gone Techie blog!  Check it out!  I can tell you from experience... you won't regret it!
